RULES
1 week before the draft, you must declare EXACTLY 2 keepers for your team. Before this deadline, you may trade players on your roster for draft picks. No matter how many of these trades you perform, you still keep exactly 2 players. The other thing to consider is that by the end of the draft, all teams must have EXACTLY 16 players on their roster. You cannot have more or less than 14 draft picks. Example: I trade Peyton Manning to someone for their 1st round pick. I must also include one of my (later) picks in return, so that I don’t end up with an extra player that won’t fit on my roster (If you don’t understand this rule, call me up and I will explain it to you).
We are doing a traditional, NON-SNAKE draft from now on. The draft order is on the right-hand side of this website.
This year’s lottery includes 3 teams. Erik will have a 3 in 6 chance of getting pick #1, Arnie will have a 2 in 6 chance, and Doug a 1 in 6 chance. The order will be determined once I have a few witnesses on hand.
New rule: special teams TDs will now be credited to a team’s defense.
Rule change up for vote: Fractional scoring?
Otherwise, the roster spots, scoring, etc will remain the same as last season.
At the end of the regular season, the top 6 teams will enter the playoffs, with the top 2 teams receiving a week-1 bye. The bottom 6 teams will enter a weighted lottery to determine their draft order for next season. The playoff teams will have their future draft spot determined by final season standings.
For next season, the amount of required keepers will be 3.
